Common questions

No. Customers call the number they already know, message you on WhatsApp or send a text, and dine-in guests scan the QR code on their table. There is nothing to download and no account to make.

No. Customers keep calling the number they already have. When you can't pick up, the call forwards to Yorcle, which answers and takes the order, so there's nothing new to advertise. The payment link goes wherever the caller prefers: by text, on WhatsApp or by email. For WhatsApp you can move your existing business number over (the WhatsApp Business app on your phone then stops working for that number, because Meta allows one or the other) or use a new one. Dine-in guests just scan the table QR.

The calls you don't answer forward to Yorcle. It answers in your restaurant's name, handles questions about the menu and your hours, and takes the order. If a caller hangs up first, they get a text inviting them to order by reply. You set up the forwarding once with your phone carrier; it takes the place of voicemail on unanswered calls.

It reads your menu from Square. Once your Square account is connected, Yorcle picks up your items, sizes, options and opening hours, leaving out anything hidden, archived or sold out. Every order is created in Square, so the price charged is always the price in Square, never one the AI came up with. When you add dishes or take them off, tell us and we re-sync your menu.

With a Square payment link. Once the customer confirms the order, they get the link by text or WhatsApp (callers can also choose email) and pay on Square's own checkout. When they've paid, they're told and the order is marked paid. If a payment fails, they get a fresh link.

Yes. Every order is created in your own Square account with its items, options and kitchen notes, next to the rest of your Square orders. Dine-in orders carry the table number, and scheduled pickups carry their pickup time. You can also see them in your Yorcle dashboard with their Square order reference.

Yorcle answers dietary and allergen questions from what your menu marks and what your item descriptions say. It never tells a guest a dish is free of something your menu doesn't say, and when it can't confirm, it says so. A request that isn't on the menu is checked with the customer before it reaches the kitchen as a note, while a removal like "no onions" goes straight through.

Yes. Your dashboard shows every conversation as it happens. Type into one and the customer gets your message in the same thread, and the AI stays quiet in that conversation until you hand it back. When a customer asks for a person, you get a text.

Yes. One switch in the dashboard pauses new orders. While paused, Yorcle tells customers the kitchen isn't taking orders right now and keeps answering their questions. Turn it back on when you're ready. Orders for a time you're closed are refused, with your next opening offered as a pickup time instead.

Not yet. Yorcle works with Square today: orders, payments, your menu and your hours all come from your Square account. If you're on another POS, tell us which one when you get in touch.

Then you shouldn't pay for it. Every restaurant is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked, and you can cancel anytime. There are no setup fees and no long contract.

Yes. A customer who texts STOP, or tells Yorcle in their own words they don't want more messages, gets one confirmation and nothing after that on WhatsApp or SMS. You're told when it happens, and the dashboard marks them as opted out.
